activities will resume from a new square : JO20WP
ON6JY EME operations will definitely be
back during 2007. New activities will first take place on 23 cm and later on 70
cm. A new dish has to be built and feed systems are expected to be a septum
feed or a W2IMU for 23 cm and a NBS quad dipole on 70 cm. The dish size is
planned to be around 6.1 m ( 20 ft ) and automatic moon tracking will be done
thanks to a dedicated Linux computer system.
Main operating mode will be CW but SSB will
be given a try on 23 cm when possible.
Current information about the status of
this project will be given as often as possible on this Web site.
