EME activities will resume from a new square

ON6JY EME operations will definitely be back during 2011. New activities will first take place on 23 cm with a new dish.

A mesh dish will be built with a septum as feed on both 23 cm & 13 cm as well as a NBS quad dipole as feed on 70 cm. The dish size will be 6.1 m ( 20 ft ) and automatic moon tracking will be done thanks to a dedicated Linux computer system.

Main operating mode will be CW but SSB will be given a try on 23 cm & 13 cm whenever possible.

So, let’s hear you off the moon soon again . . .
